Causes of Infertility in Women are Such As:
- Age- the ability to conceive drops around the age of 32 years
- Daily practices- some of the activities that a woman involves herself in such as smoking, alcohol consumption or too much or too little exercise could result in infertility.
- Sexually transmitted infections- some STI may damage critical parts such as the fallopian tube thus resulting in infertility.
- Exposure to chemical- coming into contact with some chemicals such as those in pesticides or others in some household detergents could result in infertility.

More often than not, most people learn that they are infertile when trying to get pregnant. When to Seek a Doctor
- In case you are below 35 years, visit a doctor if you do not conceive after 12 months
- If above 35 years, consult a doctor if you do not conceive after six months
- Consult the doctor if you have a complicated medical history
Fertility treatment may involve the following:
- Taking fertility drugs
- Surgery to restore your fertility
- IVF (In vitro fertilization)
